Let me tell you about Denmark. Find out if there are such countries in the world. Denmark is a country with a small total land area of 4 major islands and another 408 medium and small islands. Denmark has no natural resources other than its rich black soil. Also, Denmark is a roughly flat country except for the highlands. But all over the country it is well maintained and beautiful. .Everywhere beautiful with trees of the same shape, lights and well maintained. The same way wherever you go in the country.
The capital of Denmark is Copenhagen. All other cities are equally developed. The main shops in every city are of the same type. No matter which city in the country you go to, the main ones have the same chain of shops. The rest of the shops are very few. Do the jobs they like and farm.
So it doesn’t matter which city you go shopping in Denmark. The houses are mostly in the suburbs. 3–4 km from the city and then there are farm lands.
Most of the houses here are very small. Nice little house with a big garden and two or three rooms and one bathroom. There are very few big houses like in our country. But to a considerable extent, in addition to the house they live in, there is also a small, simple “summer” house in the woods, on the beach or on a farm. There are also many people who go to sea in their own big boat. But to a considerable extent, in addition to the house they live in, there is also a small, simple “summer” house in the woods, on the beach or on a farm. There are also many people who go to sea in their own big boat.
What is special about all this is the equality in Denmark. When we first learned the Danish language we were first taught the word ligehed / equality. In this country Mr. Mrs. Dr. Madam. Sir. the Hon. Such terms are never used. Not even used to write an address in an envelope. No head of employment or school teacher is called Sir Madam. Everyone is called by their first name. Even a stranger is addressed in a headline with only the beloved first name. Even the leader of the country has only a first name. You say how children grow up without respecting teachers..no..there is a wonderful loving bond between teachers and children..Fearless, children who are not subject to rules and regulations are trained in self-discipline at school.
Also, children have a higher personality because they have the same respect as adults. For example, if a child of any age comes to me with a mother or a father for treatment, I first greet and introduce the child to me.We are all the same in the workplace. Everyone, including the hospital cleaner and the patients, even calls the specialist doctor by name. Everyone eats in the same canteen. .. only doctors wear longer medical coats to the same uniform to put on their equipment.
The same goes for any office. Because of this equality between people, every employee has a high personality and every job is respected. No one will ever receive an order on duty except a request to “please do this”. But you can not say “and I will see” to such a request. Because it is a paradoxical order.very job in Denmark has a roughly the same salary. Some jobs have a slightly higher salary. . Doctors .. garbage collectors .. teachers .. a little overpaid.
But the higher the salary, the higher the tax levied on the salary. But every wage earner has to pay at least 37% tax on his salary. Tax at least 1/3 of the salary. People are happy to pay these taxes. Because the relief they get from these taxes is huge.
High quality free health care. Non-private schools, technical colleges and university education. Pension equal to all citizens. Also, house cleaners and nurses who come to the house and take care of the elderly or the sick. Even the wheelchairs when they get old. Every taxpayer receives 6 weeks’ leave and pay every year. They use this time for foreign travel. So even someone with a small job in Denmark has traveled to many countries around the world.
One more thing. Denmark is one of the least polluting countries in the world with 1–2 per day. So they do not hesitate to give their money to this innocent government.
Besides, the salary that everyone gets is living well and a little more is left. Another special thing I see in Denmark is that people don’t give a damn about cars and clothes. Wear shorts and a t-shirt to every job without a uniform. Both men and women. Or a woman’s short dress. Normal pants / denim / t-shirt or shirt for winter.
To this day I have never seen an employee wearing a tie anywhere.Women’s makeup use is also relatively low. Although there are young and old women who apply makeup on everything from the eyelids, most young and old women do not use any makeup. They do not wear any lipstick.
There are very nicely dressed women in Denmark. But no one pays special attention to it. Another thing is that colorful clothes are worn only in hot weather. At other times, it is not customary to wear black, gray or dark brown. Denmark is one of the happiest people in the world every year. I actually wanted to come here and see that index. There’s a wonderful way I see that satisfaction. The reason for that happiness is that they give up easily. For example, during this corona period I often have to tell patients who come to the clinic that their various tests and surgeries have been postponed indefinitely. I say that with great difficulty. Expecting anger from them. But they accept it without any reluctance. And comfort me too .. that we hope the world gets rid of this corona soon. Goodbye. Going empty-handed indefinitely. But a foreigner here would say, “But it’s so hard for me,” and make a little effort to get a date.
When I first came to work I was surprised that some patients voluntarily wrote to me not to revive if my heart stopped beating. Others say don’t put it in the intensive care unit. Cancer patients are not malignant. Normal patients.
You say people are bored with life. People who live very contented lives with their children and grandchildren say, “I have lived my life to the fullest. So if you go, write “Let me go” The words that the patient said to me with a laugh .. one day. But 85% of people in Denmark do not practice any religion.
Talking to each other about religion, politics and racism is considered a very low thing by the people here. Everyone has a silent political opinion and 97% of the vote. A teacher used to say on election day.
Most people in this country can speak English very well. But they only speak Danish. Even someone who does not know Danish often speaks Danish first and then English second. Parents, no matter how much English they can speak, start school without knowing a single English word. Later in school, they learn English and German well. Their love and respect for the mother tongue is truly an example to us .
There is no such thing as child abuse here. I think it’s easier for someone involved in such abuse to commit suicide than to live. A police certificate is essential that even a small job here is not linked to any child abuse. It is difficult to be poor in this country. Low income earners have various payments and tax breaks. If they do not have a job, they are paid by the government or the trade union. But they cannot just get paid every day. Indirect means motivate you to get a job .. I remember someone explaining it to me .. If you are an unemployed engineer you will be paid until the government finds you the next job .. but the next job is to take over the branches of the road Want to stay home without pay? It is also very difficult to get rich in Denmark. The assets of all citizens of this country are open to the government. The government knows all remittances and must obtain permission from the bank even for a small amount.
Also, getting rich is subject to bigger taxes. The higher the wealth, the lower the pension and allowances. According to the sociologists here, they are afraid that the rich will increase in the country, just like in America. When the rich increase, a social gap will arise. The rich look at the lower class with fear and suspicion. Then the self-esteem of the lower class will decrease and they will not be afraid to make mistakes. And another way to bridge this gap is to tax the government twice a year for every house and vehicle here. 300 kroner for a small car .. about 12000 kroner for a big car .. even less tax if the vehicle is new .a tax system with such a large gap for homes .. so everyone chooses a new small vehicle and a small house .
Also, many commute daily by bicycle or public transportation. The people who support various agricultural and industrial products like this are the resource of the country. The government gives a lot of facilities to the working people . The people give money to the government. My article is too long. But please do not misunderstand. This is not an increase in Denmark.
